Zhangjiajie Forest Park

張家界國家森林公園面積130平方公里,，是中國第一個國家森林公園,。地貌奇特，石峰林立,，形態(tài)各異,，樹木茂盛 ,；高入云霄、頂端開闊平坦,、氣勢雄壯,。張家界國家森林公園可劃分為黃石寨、琵琶溪,、金鞭溪,、鷂子寨、畬刀溝,、袁家界等六個小景區(qū),。

鷂子寨,，又叫山鷹之崖，位于張家界國家森林公園東北方向,，距老磨灣2.5公里,，與黃石寨、袁家界形成“三足鼎立”之勢,，有三條游步道可上鷂子寨（老磨灣至寨頂、金鞭溪至寨頂,、駱駝峰至寨頂）,。

鷂子寨海拔1050米，因老鷹嘴形似鷂子之喙而得名,，寨頂為一狹長嶺脊,，是一座屹立云天，西,、北,、東三面絕壁深達300余米的扁狀觀景臺，以奇險著稱,。

據說鷂子都難以從此飛過,，所以取名叫鷂子寨。主要有天橋,、老鷹嘴,、萬筍爭春、竭功廟舊址,、梭標巖等景點,。
